Get Outside! 

Summer Adventure & Yoga Retreat

Summertime in Taos is all about being outside! With cool mornings and evenings and warm afternoons, plus epic sunrises and sunsets, rainbows, and a glorious night sky - let's just say the mountain is calling! Combine all that with morning yoga to prep your body for the day's activities, and you have straight-up perfection. We recommend a 5-night stay to cover it all, but you can do a lot in just a few days!

A 5-night itinerary could flow like... 

Day 1: Check in around 4 PM with a welcome basket and everything you need for your retreat. Plan for a lovely dinner out or cook in.  

Day 2: Morning yoga, then raft down the Rio Grande Racecourse in the afternoon. 

Day 3: Morning yoga followed by a high alpine hike in the Taos Ski Valley.

Day 4: Get ready to check off a bucket list experience with a hot air balloon ride in the morning and a chill afternoon. 

Day 5: Morning yoga, then soak your tired muscles at Ojo Caliente spa, take a tour of the Taos Pueblo, or shop around town.  

Day 6: Head home! 

This way, there's plenty of time to relax, shop, book a massage, get in an extra hike, and/or go out to dinner.  Also, check out the new moon cycle and book a night sky observation right on your deck! 

Restore & Rejuvenate

When your battery needs recharging, step away from distractions and immerse yourself in the healing forest for lasting change. This retreat is inspired by Japanese forest bathing (shinrin-yoku), a mindfulness practice that engages all your senses to absorb the healing forest environment. 

We recommend a minimum 3-night stay for this semi-silent digital detox. Jayme will provide all the details during your planning call and help you customize the right practices and itinerary for your needs and goals. 

Start by purchasing the "Trip Planner" at checkout, then book your planning call with Jayme. After that, you'll receive a detailed itinerary with one payment, and we'll take it from there! A 3-night stay could flow like.... 

Day 1: Arrive around 4 pm with a welcome basket and everything you need for your retreat. Plan on dinner in or out. 

Day 2: Watch the sunrise from your deck while sipping on your coffee or tea, followed by yoga at Joy Yoga and a late breakfast in Arroyo Secco. Meet up with Jayme for a guided forest bath session in the high alpine, and end the day with an afternoon massage. You might opt for dinner in or out. 

Day 3: Greet the morning by walking the labyrinth on the property and breakfast on your deck. Meet with Jayme for a private yoga and mini-coaching session. This time, you might choose a self-guided forest bath. 

Day 4: Head home feeling more empowered with your new set of mindfulness tools! 

* A day at Ojo Caliente spa, night sky observation, hot air balloon ride, body therapy session, or extra coaching session would complement this itinerary perfectly.

Family Style

Slow down, reconnect, and recharge as a family! Inspired by Japanese forest bathing (shinrin-yoku), a mindfulness practice that engages all senses to absorb the healing forest environment, but we've created a fun, kid-friendly version with games and challenges to promote a screen-free retreat! 

We recommend at least 3 nights. Jayme will provide all the details during your planning call and help you customize the right itinerary and activities to meet your needs and goals.

Day 1: Arrive around 4 pm with a welcome basket and everything you need for your retreat. Grill out and watch the sunset! 

Day 2: Enjoy breakfast on your deck and explore the property. Then meet Jayme for family yoga, have an early lunch at Taos Cow, followed by a guided forest bath scavenger hunt. Watch the sunset and count the stars while roasting marshmallows. 

Day 3: Taos offers plenty for kids, and Jayme can direct you to a range of free local events and outdoor adventures. Don't forget to book Lewis for a night sky observation! 

Day 4: Head home feeling refreshed, and hopefully a little less attached to screens. ;) 

* There are too many experiences to list! A hot air balloon ride for older kids is amazing, fishing, rock climbing, mountain biking, horseback riding, splashing in the river, meandering in the forest, and art making is all available in our sweet little town. 

Joy Compass Retreat

Join your host, Jayme, yoga teacher, coach, and author, for a deeply nourishing and transformative experience to realign with your purpose and recharge your spirit from the inside out. 

We recommend a minimum 4-night stay, so you have time to settle in, take a deep dive, and formulate a plan to take what you've discovered home, so the transformation can continue in your home practice. 

Teaching since 2005, Jayme draws on her extensive knowledge of classical yoga postures, structural integration, tai chi, restorative yoga, martial arts, acupressure, Ayurveda, meditation, and contemplative mindfulness studies.
